LEO Utsav is the annual flagship event of LEO Club of CEG. It is conducted with the view of extending the club's helping hand to a social cause. It is usually conducted for two days in the month of March. The official logo of the club for the year is unveiled in this event.
‘Utsav’ literally means ‘celebration’, and it comprises several events like Gamindrome, Kollywood Quiz, Mehendi, Badminton Arena, Creative Writing, Snake and Ladder, Tamil Debate, Food Mania and Meme Creation — mainly for raising funds for a social cause. To quote an example, we provided basic amenities for the children of the Truth Foundation in Chennai as a part of Utsav’20. The castle LEO UTSAV started laying its bricks in the year 2012, focusing on people requiring help and tending to fulfil their needs.
