The LEO Club of CEG is one of the official clubs started in the late 20th century by the students of College of Engineering Guindy. Lions Club of South Madras District-324 A1 is the parent club of LEO Club of CEG.

The main theme and motto is to extend its helping hand to the society, by helping the poor people and children and etch the same accordingly.

The club was revived in 2004 and it resumed its services in all possible ways and streams, in and around the college. To support and encourage the UPSC aspirants, the club provides free coaching classes for them in collaboration with ARAM IAS ACADEMY in our college.

Our club focuses mainly on SURYA NAGAR, a slum area behind the college (near Kotturpuram) by providing them free tuitions and study materials. Events like THULIR and VIDIYAL have been being conducted for the children in that area from 2013 till now, anually, to bring out their hidden talents and thereby encouraging them. UTSAV is another flagship event of our club which is conducted anually starting 2013, through which funds are raised and utilized for rendering service outside the college.
